Last Saturday the Pertrain Team attended the Sunshine Coast Business Awards as finalists at the Sunshine Coast University’s Innovation Centre. This was the 20th anniversary of the local business awards.
While we didn’t win, it was great to see the award for our category (Knowledge Industries & Professional Services) going to another organisation focussed on education, training and safe work places for everyone.

The Compass Institute is a Sunshine Coast based charity dedicated to providing real futures for young Queenslanders with a disability. Compass offer education services and training as well as work experience in supported and unsupported paid employment in a number of industries including farming, retail, commercial kitchen, woodwork, pottery and property maintenance.
