Operator Manuals
Our equipment manuals provide a logical and structured approach to facilitating learning and assessment and ensure that the topic being delivered and assessed is in accordance with national and industry standards. Our manual structure and design is the result of years of industry feedback.
Equipment training manuals are generally organised into three sections.
- Operator Responsibilities – information about applicable legislation and standards, the role and responsibilities of the operator, safety information, risk assessment and maintenance.
- Equipment Module – specific information based on your selected machine type and model. Equipment modules for other models can be purchased and easily slot into the training program.
- Production Techniques – information about planning and preparing for operations, production methods and emergency procedures.
This manual design enables training of similar types of equipment without repeating the generic information – saving training time, reducing costs and alleviating learner and trainer frustration resulting from repetition of training and assessment content.

Equipment manuals are supported by a trainer and assessor guide and competency based assessment tool as well as training support material including PowerPoint slides, hand out notes and suggested classroom activities.
